Real-life examples of Additium3D 3D printing for businesses

We would like to share with you some images of 3D manufacturing projects carried out for companies in the following areas various sectorsfrom architects and hospitals to schools, engineers and industrial designers.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

What are Additium 3D printing technologies and which one is the best?

SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)

The most advanced and innovative.

The possibilities are endless. Ideal for parts with high strength and geometric complexity. Used in automotive and aerospace engineering, but its versatility allows it to be used in any field, from figures to supports.

SLA-technology (Stereolithography)

Ideal for the production of scale models and modelling figures. Intended for the creation of prototypes and detailed models, all types of moulds, and for jewellery casting, given its detail and resolution.

FDM- Technology (Fused Deposition Modelling)

It is used in the creation of prototypes, machine parts and customised objects such as mobile phone cases. It offers the widest variety of materials, with very different and diverse properties.

What do they say about us?

Faqs 3D Printing

3D printing uses computer-aided design to create three-dimensional objects using a layering method. Sometimes referred to as additive manufacturing, 3D printing involves layering materials, such as plastics, composites or biomaterials, to create objects with different shapes, sizes, stiffness and colours.

To produce your 3D printed parts we will need a three-dimensional model of your part, preferably in .stl format, although we accept almost any type of CAD modelling file, such as .step, .igs, .fbx, .sldrt and many more.

There are different ways to obtain a 3D model of your part. On the one hand, if it is a part of your own design that you have made in CAD software such as Autocad, Rhino, Solidworks, etc., it will be as simple as exporting the part in .stl format and entering it in our immediate order portal.

On the other hand, if you wish to recreate an existing object such as a sculpture, or a reduced scale model of any object, we will scan it in 3D.

In other cases, if what you want is the 3D printing of thematic figures, models of buildings, objects of common use, gadgets, games... there are repositories of 3D models, most of them free, where you will surely find your model file for 3D printing.

Some of these websites are:

If you want a figure of yourself, a friend or a pet, we can do it! Contact us and we will arrange a 3D scanning appointment to print your figure.

One of the specialities of Additium 3D are the spare parts by reverse engineering, by which by means of 3D scanning and CAD modelling, we create the model of the part that has broken and then 3D print it.

3D printers use CAD to create 3D objects from a variety of materials, such as molten plastic or powders. 3D printers can come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from machines that fit on a desktop to large construction models used in the manufacture of 3D printed houses.

3D printing encompasses many forms of technologies and materials, as the technology is being used in almost every conceivable industry. It spans a diverse set of sectors with a multitude of different applications.

Some examples:

Consumer products (footwear, design, furniture) Industrial products (manufacturing tools, prototypes, machine parts, functional end-use parts, etc.)
-Collectable figures
-Medical prostheses for disabled persons
-Architectural models and models.
-Reconstruction of bones or fossils
-Replicas of all kinds
-Reconstruction of forensic evidence
-Film material
Etc.
